In the wake of actions and reflections stimulated by the production, by the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur (MEES), of its digital strategy in education and higher education, the Fédération des cégeps, with which the ITREP Network is associated, is organizing a colloquium with the theme of The College Network in the Digital Age. This colloquium will take place on June 15, 2017 at Dawson College in Montreal. Its organization follows a memoir presented by the Fédération des cégeps to the MEES, entitled Stratégie numérique en éducation et en enseignement supérieur – le réseau collégial, une vision à l’ère du numérique (Digital Strategy in Education and Higher Education – the College Network, a Vision in the Digital Age) (in French).
Keynote speakers, including Jorge Lopez (Vice-President and Distinguished Analyst at Gartner) and Éric Noël (principal Vice-President for North America at Oxford Analytica), will participate in this colloquium. In addition, a conference entitled Contributing to the educational success by mastering the digital skills of students and teachers will be presented by the facilitator for the ITREP Network.
