To develop essential skills: the ICT Profile (in French)
This video shows a workshop presented to new ITREPs during a videoconference, to present the ICT Profile for College Students and the ICTProfile.ca Webspace.
As for the slideshow, it may be adapted to the context specific to each teaching institution, as long as the original author name is quoted.
2014 Edition of the ICT Profile for College Students: The information approach, methodologically and cognitively first!
And finally, the third part presents the objectives targeted by the 2014 edition of the ICT Profile for College Students, along with an overview of the skills it includes (with the possibility of viewing video clips on each of the skills – in French only). It also focuses on the strengths of the 2014 ICT Profile and on current and future resources for promoting its implementation in programs. It also offers tips for colleges that are considering migrating from the 2009 edition of the ICT Profile to the 2014 edition.

During a team work activity, IT reps were encouraged to identify strategies to sensitize, encourage and support teachers in working with the ICT Profile for Students in Social Science. This document offers several methods that IT reps cans adapt to their college’s needs, for every program.

An interview with Michel Lacroix, English Seconde Language Teacher at Collège Gérald-Godin. To facilitate the integration of the abilities of the ICT Profile for College Students into the students’ academic experience, the college has recently come up with the following approach : ICT abilities are seamlessly integrated into class activities and evaluations in the students’ two mandatory English courses as well as in their third physical education class. These courses are part of the general education courses that are taken by all the students in the college.
This is a set of files in png format that aid in the integration of visual representations of the ICT Profile into documents, slide shows, blogs, etc.
